I don't want to go too big, and definitely don't want to go too small. I'm 5'3 weigh 130 pounds and gave 3 kiddos. 34AA. We are super active so I don't want to have them "in the way" but don't want to feel like I'm wasting my money! I'm struggling between a 375 to 425 silicone moderate profile. Any suggestions?? Pre op is in a few days, and I will try them on again!
Answer: Size Choice Hello,I recommend that you bring a few of your favorite form-fitting tops and try them on. Then, go with your gut. In my experience, choosing the slightly larger of two implants is rarely a decision my patients regret and the difference, visibly, is much smaller than you think. Select the implant that gives you the "look" you like and worry less about the volume/numbers. All the best

Answer: Chosing size Thank you for your question and the photos. Breast size is a very personal decision, you should go with what you like the look and feel of on your body. I think you will be happy with either size as the difference between the two is not that much. When you re-try the sizes try them in different tops that you normally wear, if it is helpful bring a friend or relative with you to help you make the decision.Good luck

Answer: Implant size This question can be confusing. Basically you want a 2 cup size increase, but don't know whether a 50 cc difference will be too big or too small. Ask yourself, "Do I want a busty appearance or not?" The larger breasts regardless of the two sizes you are considering, will affect your physical activities. Think more about how you want to fit in your clothes. Do you want a fuller bust? Go with the larger implant. Do you want a more athletic build? Go with the smaller one. Have a discussion with your surgeon. I am sure your surgeon has dealt with this question before and will be able to guide you. Good Luck.

Answer: Implant size I would suggest you re size when you do your pre-op. Stuff your bra with the different sizes and see how they look on your frame. That is the best way to tel in my opinion.

Answer: Best Breast Implants for ME? Thank you for the question. Based on your photographs, I think that you are starting at a good place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, in bra sizers, and computer imaging) as well as careful measurements (dimensional planning) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery ( regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. For example, I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "too big" or "in the way" etc may mean different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on him who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. Again, the use of computer imaging has been very helpful during the communication process, in our practice. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery, after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers.I hope this (and the attached link, dedicated to breast augmentation surgery concerns) helps. Best wishes for an outcome that you will be very pleased with.
