My doctors office won’t give me any advice because I didn’t purchase from them. I would like to continue use to help with my scars from breast reduction.

Answer: I’m getting blisters from using Embrace scar therapy. Is there anything I can do to prevent this from happening? (Photo)
Congratulations on your surgery! Embrace is a fantastic product - better than most other silicone products, although most all silicone products are great for healing scars. It is best to wait until your scabs are totally gone before starting to use Embrace. Be sure to follow the directions...
Embrace scar therapy is probably the best way to reduce tension across a scar. However, an alternative would be taping. Keep adhesive tape lengthwise on the scar. This may help provided you tolerate the tape adhesive.
Embrace can be applied longer than the recommended time period and many of my patients have done this approach and achieved good success. Many patients also switch to a silicone sheeting without the tension reduction capabilities of Embrace. Either approach seems acceptable. Best wishes, Dr. ALDO
