I’m trying to decide between 325cc or 350cc. Advice? (photos)

Unfortunately, you have not provided any photographs of your breasts or told us your bra size.  Since you described having deflated breasts, you may benefit from a breast lift more than augmentation.  I recommend The Bellesoma Method to reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage.  Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained.  At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D. 

Many different factors must be taken into account when deciding the correct implant for a given patient. The actual difference between 325 cc and 350cc is not visually evident in most patients. In our practice,we prefer to have patients show us how they want their breasts to look, and allow us to use our expertise in selecting the correct implant. This removes alot unnecessary anxiety for the patient.

hello thank you for your question and provided information as well..based on the photos shown, the ideal is that to determine the size you are consulted in person by your plastic surgeon and see how many cc you can get the result you want and what technique you apply.

Best to discuss with your surgeon!  Bring pictures of what you like and let the doctor try on each size during surgery to see what looks best.  Also, you may want to consider the xtra fill implants that give more cleavage.  Good luck.

If torn between these two sizes, I would recommend the larger size.  You will get used to the size and possibly wish you had gone larger.

best advice you can receive is from an in-person consultation.   The size, profile, and shape of the
implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall
measurements, and soft tissue quality.  This decision should
be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you
and your surgeon.   Make sure you specifically look
at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery
performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.   The most
important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend
that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who
can evaluate you in person.

Dear tefa_lo,Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small.You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MD

The average implant placed in the US is 350 cc.  The difference in 350 ml and 325 cc is imperceptible to most observers.  I think that if you have the decision down to a volume disparity of 25 cc, either implant will produce a similar result.  Also, remember that any implant placed under the muscle is blunted.  So, anything you think that looks good when you are sizing prior to surgery -- add about 50 ml to that.  Kenneth Hughes, MD, Board Certified Plastic SurgeonLos Angeles, CA

ONLY 25 cc difference!!! Come on now. Go try on implants sizers. If anything I would seek at least a 50 cc difference at a minimum. Have you discussed this with your surgeon? 

Thank you for your question, implants in today's market come in different projections and shape.  If the implant you are considering is gel, there are extra fill gel implants which hold their projection and shape under the muscle.  For sure need to decide the size with your surgeon.  Best of luck.
