I plan to have breast augmentation three months later and is struggling about which type of implants to use, I am considering Motiva, Sebbin and Bellagel, it seems that Sebbin has the softest texture but motiva gives a more natural and better looks. I am skinny and have narrow chest cavities, I want the implants look and touch naturally like real one, much appreciated for kind advice.
Answer: Silicone implants Thank you for your question. The main differences in implants are the material - silicone or saline; texturisation - smooth or textured; and shape - round or anatomical. Material: Silicone has a more natural feel Texturisation: A known complication of breast augmentation is capsular contracture (hardening of the tissue surrounding the implant). Texturisation of the implant shell was done to reduce the risk of capsular contracture. Recently there have been cases reported of ALCL associated with textured implants. The evidence seems to point to it being caused by more aggressive texturisation, but the cause is not clear at this stage. Motiva implants are nano-textured and therefore have a lower theoretical risk. Shape: Anatomical implants will give you a more natural look when standing up, but do not fall into a natural position when lying down. Motiva implants are made to look natural in any position. Brands: Mentor has a long safety record with a lifelong warranty against rupture and capsular contracture. Motiva's history is shorter. I do not know about Sebbin or Bellagel. If you want a truly natural augmentation and would be satisfied with a increase of 1-2 cup sizes, I would recommend fat grafting. Fat can be taken from any part of your body and grafted to your breasts. Even if you think you don't have any fat, it is possible to harvest enough. If done correctly, it will be almost impossible for anyone to tell you've had surgery. Hope this helps.

Answer: Implant type Dear charicelam,Breast implant type and sizing selection is a complicated process and requires a detailed consultation that includes a discussion of your goals, a detailed examination, and a lengthy discussion. But the decision will always start and end with the patient. When it comes to sizing, we have all of our patients find 3 photos of their desired breast size. We ask for naked breast photos because clothing can obscure the true size (push up bras). Next, we consult with patients and go over the photos and take detailed breast measurements during a physical exam. Next, we using a sizing algorithm to determine a range of implants that will work based on the exam and the measurements.Lastly, during the operation, we use silicone sizers in the operating room to see how the size actually looks in the breast. We sit the patient up in the operating room, while asleep of course, and compare the sizer result with their desired look photos. If it is too small, we start the process over with a slightly larger implant. We don't stop until we get the perfect match.Of all of my breast augmentation patients, every one of them has been happy with their size due to this detailed and meticulous process. You don't want to invest time and money into a result that is either too big or too small. You should discuss your concerns with a board-certified plastic surgeon and make sure that your surgeon understands your goals.Daniel Barrett, MD Certified, American Board of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Plastic Surgery Member, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery

Answer: Breast Augmentation Singapore Dear charicelam, Thank you for your question. There are numerous implant companies in Singapore now and also different shapes and sizes that you can choose from. What you have described is a common feature in some of my patients. Whilst it may sound confusing and difficult to select, a consultation with the Crisalix 3D Imaging system can help you to visualise your desired augmentation much more easily. Have a great day ahead !
