I recommend waiting 2 weeks before any facial treatments. Any pressure to the face may cause manipulation of the product. It's always beneficial to play it safe. Thanks for the question.
The HydraFacial is an excellent no downtime treatment that can treat a variety of skin issues, including acne. No. It would be very unusual to have a HydraFacial treatment harm or cause the early "dissolving" of Juvederm, even if the HydraFacial was performed the next day and especially a week before a HydraFacial. Additionally, we commonly perform Juvederm injections immediately after a HydraFacial with no issues. I hope this helps.
Dear melimouse,I am a little more on the conservative side and I would wait 2 weeks before getting a hydrafacialI have had one and they are a little on aggressive side, as far as facials goThey use microdermabrasion and massaging to get those nice resultsIt may also cause the Juvederm to spreadAlternatively, you can avoid that area if you goBest,Nima Shemirani
Hi Meli. The facial should not affect the Juvederm. We are most concerned about this situation when the facial is very close to the injections (within 1-3 days after) as if there is messaging associated with the facial, it can disrupt the shape of or move the injection product. If you have been injected for more than a week you should be ok. To be safe, avoid heavy facial message (not sure what the hydrafacial involves).
Hydrafacial treatments should not have any affect on fillers' longevity. One should not have facial massages or HydraFacials or microderabrasion the same day after receiving filler injections. The reason is the force or pressure on you skin could affect the placement of the filler in the areas received. The integration of your filler into the skin and soft tissues of the face is quick and after a few days any and all of these treatments can be performed safely and comfortably. I recently got juvederm on my laughlines around my nose and on my lip I am getting a hydra facial in a week will it lessen the effect of juvederm or make it go away faster? No, once the Juvederm has been placed it rapidly integrates with the surrounding tissues and treatments such as the HydraFacials do not affect absorption.
A small amount of product used to the marionette lines can help to decrease the lines. Schedule an appointment with an experienced injector to obtain a accurate assessment. Discuss your expectations. Thank you for your questions.
The blue tint is most likely the product sitting under the skin. You can have the product dissolved which may help the blue tint to diminish or you can choose to wait and allow the filler to dissolve over time. The choice is yours and depends on how badly you want it to go away. Hope this helps...
This plan is fine. I usually recommend being very conservative with lip injections as you want to look natural and your lips need to fit the rest of your features. 1 syringe (1 mL) is usually adequate for most. However, at two weeks, if you desire more filler you can have additional Juvederm...
