Would I need a tummy tuck in combination with my Brazilian butt lift and liposuction to achieve desired results? (photos)

Hi I’m 4’11 135 lbs and have 2 kids. I really want to get Lipo 360 and BBL but I do not want a tummy tuck. Is it really necessary for me to get a Tummy Tuck to be happy with my results?

Liposuction and BBL can be a good option for removing excess fat and enhancing the shape and size of the buttocks, but in this case you may not achieve the results you desire with liposuction and BBL alone. MA tummy tuck may be necessary to address the excess skin and laxity and create a smoother, more toned abdominal area.

However, every patient is unique, and the best way to determine the appropriate treatment plan for you would be to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate your individual anatomy and discuss your goals with you. They can recommend the most appropriate procedures to help you achieve the results you desire.

It is important to keep in mind that any surgical procedure comes with potential risks and complications, and recovery times can vary. Hello, and thank you for your question regarding whether you’ll need a tummy tuck and combination with your Brazilian butt lift or BBL and liposuction to achieve the desired results.  Thank you for your history and pictures.  In examining your pictures, you have a distended abdomen.  This can be due to fat, skin, or weakening of the rectus diastasis muscle, and an accumulation of visceral fat or fat around your organs.  I would suggest you undergo liposuction in the abdomen, flanks, and buttocks.  This is called 360 Lipo.  Most plastic surgeons would take that fat and use it to augment the buttocks.  I think you will get excellent results.  If you are not satisfied with the results after your 360 liposuction and BBL, you can always have a tummy tuck done at a later date.  However, for your initial surgery, I think you will get the best results with 360 Lipo and fat transferred to the buttocks.  In your case, you do not need a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty).  If you have any more questions regarding tummy tucks, abdominoplasties, or abdominal liposuction, contact an experienced plastic surgeon.  Since the tummy tuck surgery is a big procedure, please seek an experienced, board-certified plastic surgeon with significant experience in performing tummy tucks.  Do your research. I always recommend choosing a Board certified plastic surgeon to achieve optimal results. You could go ahead with liposuction and BBL. Talk with your surgeon about doing small amount of abdominal & flank Vaser liposuction after they perform most of the fat harvesting regular liposuction. The regular liposuctioned fat will be transferred to your buttocks. Vaser liposuction helps to tighten the skin. The Vaser liposuctioned fat can not be transferred though as it is killed using the heat and ultrasonic technology that helps to tighten the skin in the areas it is used on. There’s still a chance you’ll have loose skin on your abdomen. After you are healed you can decide if you are happy with the way everything looks or if you want that possible skin removed. based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a TT. Full tummy tuck should tighten your abdominal muscles and remove the excess skin. Flanks liposuction would give you a better shape. You might also get improvement with BBL. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

Thank you for including photos of you currently. Generally, after two or more pregnancies, women do have some separation of the abdominal muscles and some skin laxity.

Based on these photos, it looks that liposuction of abdomen, flanks and back, followed with fat transfer for buttock/hip augmentation and shaping, would be good procedure for you. To correct fullness in the midline of the tummy aka Diastasis Recti, we must do a Tummy tuck. Results are enhanced when we do 360 liposuction along with it. BBL can be done subtly for a shape curve.

You might start with liposuction and see what kind of results you have once the excess fat is removed. You are very sway back so your abdomen will always protrude unless you can improve your posture.

Anyone suggesting liposuction alone will.give you a good result has rocks in their head. You have very obvious significant muscle laxity of your abdominal wall, to the point it's a legit question as to whether mesh reinforcement may be indicated rather then just repairing the diastasis with sutures only.

If you are wanting a BBL that is probably better done as a standalone before to realize more fatty tissue to graft, but just be realistic that an abdominoplasty would be needed later for best contour

Based on the submitted photos it appears you will have improvement of subcutaneous fat with liposuction and can have enhancement of the buttocks.  However your photos show there is abdominal wall laxity.  This cannot be addressed with liposuction, but is instead corrected by a tummy tuck.  If your goal is to have a flat abdomen you will need to consider the tummy tuck.
