Parts of Areola missing after breast lift/reduction and implants. What happened and what can be done? (Photos)

This is an unusual complication and most likely due to minor compromise in the blood supply to your nipple during healing.  I have seen this in one of my own patients recently.  Over time the pigment cells usually recover & the pigment returns.  At 6 months there is probably still a chance that colour will return.  I would wait a full 12 months before considering having any scar revision or tattooing etc.  I don't think the issue is due to suture removal time.  Having a lift & implants combined is an operation fraught with complications compare to separating these 2 procedures.  All the best

Looking at the photos over your post operative recovery, it looks like there may have been some wound breakdown, delayed healing or superficial wound infection related to the sutures. So it this stage if you want to avoid another surgery you could consider nipple areolar tattooing. This may help disguise the irregularity. That may be a simple first step.
