3 months post breast reduction, having some issues. B to D cup.

Question

I had a BR in May, At first I fit comfortably in a Bcup bra, and was over the moon happy with my results. I'm now a Dcup, the increase is noticeable and I hate it. I had a few complications during recovery, wound dehiscence, slight infection, recurring seroma on left side. I also have PCOS, fibrocystic breasts, and as per my GP, starting perimenopause. Could hormones cause breast growth? If I have a 2nd reduction how can I ensure lasting results? How long should I wait, will OHIP cover it? Thx!

Hello,The change in cup size was less about an actual increase in size of your breasts, and more about a change in the shape of your breasts (recurrent sagging).  As for your seroma, this needs to be surgically opened to allow for dressing changes so that it can heal completely.  Serial aspirations or even a percutaneous drain may just prolong the process. Once you've healed completely, probably closer to a year, you can have an ABPS certified/ASAPS member surgeon give you a beautiful, smaller breast, which sags less and has a pleasing nipple position.
