I first noticed this in 2017 and it started off small but as time has passed by I noticed how much larger it’s gotten . I desperately want to get this removed as it’s affected my self confidence and haven’t properly taken a picture without covering my face . I don’t have insurance and would love an estimate so I can start saving up for a procedure.

This is a rather large forehead lipoma.  Usually we see them when they are half that size.  Patients with forehead lipomas are given two alternatives: small transverse inision in a forehead wrinkle line or endoscopic removal wherein the forehead has no scar and the lipoma is removed through endoscopic access behind the hairline.   Either could be done with this lipoma.  Keeping the incision to under an inch for a direct approach should be possible.
   Cost would vary depending on your surgeon, area, and method.  Endoscopic removal is best done under general anesthesia so the cost would be greater.  Probably 2500 for direct excision and 7500 for endoscopic.   This needs to be done by a board-certified plastic surgeon.  The course of the superficial branch of the supraorbital nerve goes right under that lipoma and you don't want it cut.

Lipomas are benign fatty tumors that occur under the skin and less commonly within the muscle. They are associated with mild discomfort and a lump underneath the skin. It is always best to talk to an expert plastic surgeon to determine whether the lipoma is possibly a cyst or a tumor or hernia. We would have to remove the lipoma to be sure that it is not something else and we usually do this by sending it to a pathologist for evaluation. If a lipoma is painful, then an exam is needed to make sure it is not compressing on a nerve or whether the diagnosis is different. Aftercare for a lipoma includes gentle compression and Plato’s Scar Serum twice daily on the wound.

Based on your photo, you would benefit from excision of the mass which is likely a lipoma.  The incision can be hidden within hairline to minimize scarring on the forehead.

The cost of lipoma removal (OOP) varies but can be around $1500-2000, and in your case can be performed under local anesthesia.

Hello Vanenes. Often a simple lipoma can be removed in the office or clinic setting under local anesthesia. This greatly reduces the cost of the procedure. If you require sedation or general anesthesia, these will incrementally increase costs along with any facility fees incurred. 
I would recommend contacting your local plastic surgeon's office and discussing cash pay rates. This will vary significantly based on geographic region, surgeon experience and practice setting. Since the lipoma is located on your face, it is particularly important to choose an experienced surgeon that is board certified in plastic surgery or facial plastic surgery.
Finally, sometimes discounts are offered for paying in full. If the price tag is too steep, there are also financing options available through companies such as CareCredit.

The main cost to you for lipoma removal, if done in an Hospital, is the Operating Theatre fee, of about $1000 "flag fall", another $1000 for the half hour of the operation, and perhaps $1000 for a half-day in hospital.If you take out Private Health Insurance of an Intermediate (Silver) level, and wait a year, that fee would be reduced to about $500.
Or, it could be done in a doctor's office, if they have a mini-operating Theatre, for probably about $1000 total fee.

Pricing will vary significantly based on whether you get it removed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia. Under local anesthesia, you can plan to pay $2,000. Thank you for your post and photos. Lipoma removal is relatively painless and most can be removed with local anesthesia in the office with return to work that day. The cost of surgical removal will vary from region to region, and a good estimate can be found on Real-self which states the average cost is around $1600 probably for smaller, non complicated/deep ones. Imaging may be useful in some cases help with location and evaluation of the characteristics of the mass as well. It is best to see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to review your options and treatment plan.

Interesting question with nice posted photo demonstrating a enlarging forehead lipoma. In practice setting expect the fees in the $1,000 for surgery. Might recommend contacting University based plastic surgery program to have a resident in training operate at a reduced fee. Good Luck.
