Ioften use either Ultherapy or ThermiLift before facial sculpting withSculptra. Both of these therapies tighten the skin by heating andcontracting the underlying collagen. They also stimulate theproduction of new collagen, as does Sculptra, which makes the skinmore resilient and supple. Using these therapies in combinationcreates very natural-looking, rejuvenating and long-lasting results. If you’ve already had Sculptra, you should wait 6 – 8 weeks afteryour last session, so the results of your Sculptra are visible beforehaving your tightening procedure. Please find a board-certifieddermatologist to find out how to get the most out of your Sculptratreatment.
There are many options out there that improve skin appearance, wrinkles and tighten skin. It is hard to opinion on what is the best treatment wince it varies from patient to patient and their condition. It would be easier to narrow down options if you provided picture. You may look into Syneron Profound System that encourages collagen production together with elastin and hyaluronic acid. Moreover, there are lasers, that can be combined with other treatments such as microneedling, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, etc. Best of luck!
Generally, if a patient has come for a rejuvenation and one of the issues is lax skin, I will do a skin-tightening session with either Thermage or Ultherapy before proceeding to facial sculpting with Sculptra and/or Voluma. It's perfectly fine to do it afterward, too.Lasers not only tighten the skin, but stimulate the production of new collagen, which increases the skin's quality over the long term. This combination of facial fillers with lasers is so rejuvenating many patients feel like they've had a nonsurgical facelift. Sculptra lasts for up to 2 years. Voluma will last about 18 months. Laser therapy should be done every year to maintain your skin's resilience and plumpness. Please see a board-certified dermatologist to tighten your skin with laser therapy.
Thank you for your question. There many options for skin tightening that are non-surgical. I use a radio frequency device called Profound to tighten skin in combination with Sculptra. I do the skin tightening procedure first and then follow with a series of Sculptra treatments. It is the analogy of tightening the bedspread and adding feathers to the mattress. As we age we lose volume and our skin becomes more lax. This combination is effective in treating both aspects of aging.
I often do a combination of Sculptra, Juvederm, or Voluma and layer the injectables with Thermage. Thermage produces collagen and is FDA approved to tighten the skin with real results. The new CPT tip is able to provide deep heating and produce fabulous skin tightening results. Please consult a board certified dermatologist who is an expert in skin tightening procedures. Best, Dr. Green

They way to tighten skin, whether after Sculptra or not, is to build collagen - which Sculptra itself is doing. Overall skin tightening is best done with a ground breaking treatment we offer called 3D. 3D is a collagen building powerhouse, combing two lasers (the first working on a deeper level, the second on a more superficial) for an overall three-dimensional skin tightening effect. Most effective in a series of three treatments, 3D invovles only minimal discomfort and zero downtime - you will leave the office looking radiant and refreshed and your skin will begin to build collagen and tighten over the next several weeks and months. This is a great treatment for current fine lines, wrinkles and laxity and for overall prevention as well.
Hello, Thank you for your question. Sculptra is commonly injected into the cheek and temple area. It will grow your own collagen. If it is an area that has always bothered you, and can be improved, age doesn't necessarily play a large role. Because you are younger, you should have a strong...
Ellanse isn't FDA approved in the United States. You can have Sculptra with fillers like Juvederm or Restylane. Often I combine the Sculptra with other fillers, lasers, toxins and skin care to enhance the results and give immediate results. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Sculptra takes about 3-4 months to start to take full affect and show results. If you are unhappy with the treatment; Venus Legacy and 5fu/steroid injections may help reverse the results. However, typically the sculptra will last 2-3 years when at full correction. See an expert for a formal ...
The particles are gone very quickly but the response to the particles lasts 6-12 months. I suggest PDT therapy, long term minocycline and NSAIDS and to start long term RF treatments like exilis and/or venus legacy. Best, Dr. Emer.
Based on your description, I recommend following up with your Doctor for a formal evaluation to rule out infection. Cannulas usually help reduce bruising and swelling, so you'll want to rule out other causes. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Hello, Sculptra is an excellent option but does take generally a series of treatment to reach optimal potential. The results are gradual yet sustained over a longer period of time vs. traditional injection products. At your young age, you would also benefit from a filler such as Restylane LY...
