Hi, I had fat transfer done 5 years ago from my hip area to the bridge of my nose, mainly in the upper region towards my eyebrows and slightly in the mid bridge for projection. I now want to remove it because I miss my natural small nose. I have a very small bone structure to begin with and am not wanting to augment cartilage or bone. I just want all the fat to be removed so my bone structure can be seen again. Thanks!
Answer: Nose fat Hello and thank you for posting photos along with your question...This area is going to be very difficult to liposuction to remove the fat. I would have to examine you in person and see pictures of your nose before but you might benefit from fat dissolving injections. This is NOT FDA approved in this area but it seems as though it would be your best option. I also think your nose looks really good and you should probably just leave it alone, however, if it really bothers you then this is an option to consider. Wish you all the best!

Answer: Unhappy with fat transfer--ultrasound, radiofrequency, kybella, mesotherapy, 5/FU steroids This is needs an in-person evaluation. A combination of 5/FU steroids, lasers, microneedling/prp and radiofrequency can give improvement. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: Liposuction of the nose Given your pictures and profile, the amount of fat to be removed is quite small and the risk of causing a deformity is likely higher so I would not recommend it. See a board-certified plastic surgeon with experience with Kybella as a possible off label use.Dr. Z

Answer: Fat graft removal Liposuction in this area would be risky for irregularity but is an option. I would favor being very slow with Kybella injection every other month until the fat is gone. That is also not without risk.

Answer: Liposuction to nose bridge if the nose is truly filled with fat, this is a place where kybella might be useful in tiny amounts. This is not an approved use of the medication but it could be done off label. You need a careful exam first. Liposuction is awkward here.
