5 days post op, I have migraine after Liposuction & fat transfer. Is this normal?

I'm going on day 5 post op. I'm experienceing one of the worst headaches ever with nasea. I'm using these sea sickness bracelets that actually work but I still have a throbbing headache even after taking 2 advils. I'm monitoring my temp and its normal. Should I seek medical attention?? And my PS is 4 hrs away :/

This is likely not due to the procedure, but I would suggest speaking to your physician and getting an alternative treatment.  Botox works amazing in my hands to get rid of migraines almost immediatly, but you may need another oral treatment.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Sorry to hear that you are experiencing such discomfort. Some people do have reactions to the anesthesia (typically if it's general) and other medications after any surgery. I recommend you contact your surgeon as soon as you can to discuss what you are going through. Hope you feel better!

Hello, I'm sorry to hear about suffering this uncomfortable headache. If your PS is 4 hr away, a Telephone call or e-mail must be done. He /; She need to know whats going on. I can recommend in the  the mid time If you are not diagnosed with high blood pressure ,  some caffeine intake  , via coffee or pain killer combined with caffeine. . Best wishes.

Stress, such as an operation, can trigger a migraine.  Nevertheless, report this to your surgeon.
