Stitches still oozing after 10 days. Should I be worried? (Photo)

Question

It's now 10 days after my full thigh liposuction and stitches are still oozing. They are not bleeding or oozing enough to dirty the clothes but every day for taking bath when I removed those bandages they are wet. Stitches along my upper thighs have healed but near knee area do ooze. I started my month long vacation 2 days ago and now I'm so worried about this. The pain has significantly decreased and I have other problem except these stitches. Kindly help

After liposuction with an access point near the knees there can be some leakage of fluid for some time.  This should be evaluated by the operating surgeon.

Most liposuction access points spontaneously seal in a day or so. I don't see anything alarming in the photograph but this is something that should be looked at by your surgeon.

Glad to hear that your pain has decreased and you are experiencing no other problem. Continue to follow the post-op instructions your surgeon gave you. I would make an appointment to see your surgeon just to ensure your suture is healing as it should. Some individuals take a bit longer to heal than others.
