Is microneedling okay to get on the belly 11-12 weeks after birth? If not, when is it recommended to get?

Hi!Yes, it would be ok to get microneedling 12 weeks postpartum as long as you have followed up for your postpartum care visit and your obgyn found everything to be normal.Are you doing the microneedling for stretch marks?  If you're breast feeding, just be aware of what lubricating medium they may be using... avoid any vitamin A derivative such as retinol, tretinoin, etc.Best,Dr. Huo

    As long as there are no under-lying conditions/infections, this should be completely acceptable. If you are doing the micro needling for stretch marks specifically, these need to be targeted as soon as possible to increase response to treatment. Hope this helps!
