I had a consultation for microneedling and was told she could bring it all the way to the lash line to help minimize visible scars from a lower bleph from 4 yrs ago. Scars also extend from each outer corner. I have come to accept these scars, and that was not the reason for my consult, however it would be a bonus if safe.
Answer: Customized treatments are best for scar revision Thank you for your question. When performed by an experienced, board-certified dermatologist, this treatment can be safely administered to the delicate area under the eyes. However, there are other treatments that might offer better results, depending on your specific situation, skin tone and desired results. I would schedule another in-person consultation with a doctor that offers a variety of laser treatments to determine whether one of these devices might work better for you.

Answer: Facial Rejuvenation -- PRP/Microneedling, Laser (Fraxel/Clear+Brilliant, Erbium/Co2), Venus Viva, Intensif/Fractora, Renuvion Depending on the settings and provider, it can be safe in the under eye area, however, this may not be the most effective treatment for great results in the under eye area if done alone. You often need a combination method approach. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Microneedling under the eye area Yes, it is safe to do microneedling under the eyes if done correctly by an expert. We have been getting great results with RF microneedling with Morpheus8 on scar treatment. However, it is not guaranteed that your scar will disappear or improve with this treatment alone.

Answer: Is microneedling safe for the undereye area That is a great question. Yes, the undereye area can be treated safely with microneedling in experienced hands. The tissue there is more sensitive so a gentler approach is often necessary. It is safe to do microneedling under the eye and around the eye area for fine lines, wrinkles and scars. With our patented growth factor serum from Omnibioceutical Innovations, we have been using this for nearly 10 years and have never had any adverse effects. We can also target improved texture, pigments, puffiness, discoloration, smoothness as well as the collagen stimulation from the needles. Best of luck!
