Liposuction worth it? (Photo)

Thank you for your question and photos.  I do not think that liposuction alone will leave you satisfied with your result.  Keep in mind that liposuction will only remove fat.  This will cause your belly to have loose, saggy skin which will need to be corrected by undergoing a tummy tuck.  You will need to be evaluated in person by a board-certified plastic surgeon though to determine what exactly would be the best course of action for you.All the best,Dr. ResultsMiami, FL

 Thank you for your question and photographs. It is hard to tell without a physical exam whether or not you will get the results you wish for with liposuction alone. But, I believe you should have acceptable results if you have realistic expectations.  Wear your compression garment as long as possible to minimize possible loose skin.Best wishes to you,Gary Horndeski M.D.

With good after care you can see worthwhile results from liposuction.  The lower abdominal skin should do well in your case.  Liposuction does not affect the inner abdominal layers, but it will improve your pinchable fat.  Any residual skin laxity can be addressed later but you are likely to see good results from liposuction alone.

Liposuction will improve your contour but you are right you will have some excess skin. Tummy tuck will give a flatter abdomen but if you can not take the time off for recovery liposuction alone is ahold alternative..

Hi jumoke86Judging only from your pics, I would say that you would be best served by a tt.  Reason being that you appear to have weakness of muscles (diasasis), lax skin, and a moderately thick fat pad.I think lipo will get you smaller, and maybe a better shape, but that will be limited by the strength layer and the skins limited ability to shrink after all the fat is removed.Hope this helps.Sek

Based on you pictures you would be a relatively good candidate for liposuction. The skin does not look too loose, however to be sure you need to be evaluated by a board certified Plastic Surgeon.
