It’s too bad that you had to experience this. Please see your surgeon as soon as you can to have your belly button examined. It looks like it may be infected, even though you mention there’s no smell.

The blister can be an indication of spreading infection or pus formation. I would advise you to see your PS for an assessment and commence on a coarse of antibiotics. A good antiseptic to use on the bb itself is iodine.

It does appear that may have an infection around your bellybutton. I would recommend discussing the matter with your surgeon. Treatment options for you may include antibiotics, local wound care et cetera. It is still quite reasonable that no long-term consequences will develop. It is important, so that you do seek medical care from your surgeon.It is imperative that you seek the advice of a plastic
surgeon who is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has
extensive experience in tummy tuck/abdominoplasty.

From your pictures there does seem to be a combination of infection and decreased blood supply to the belly button. I would not want you to manage this condition on your own. Please contact your plastic surgeon for antibiotics, topical care and possibly a minor surgical procedure. Best of luck!

Best to see your operating surgeon so you can be properly evaluated in person. This may require additional antibiotic treatment, debridement, and/or wound care but this will be best determined by your operating surgeon when he or she sees you and examines you. Good luck!

Hello, if you have signs of an infection (blusters, redness, oozing) you do need to seek prompt medical attention.  This is not something that should be managed yourself.

Sorry to hear about your healing problems. Yes, it looks like the blood supply to your belly button has been injured, and so the tissues are not healing. This may require some additional surgery (minor) to get it to heal correctly. Follow the instructions from your surgeon, and go in for close follow up. Best wishes.
