Should I be OK with UHP or should I go for HP? Is that a big difference on either for the look I want. (photo)

Choosing the right implant is a very important decision. How to choose between two choices that you have presented is really a matter of whether you want more outer fullness on the sides of your breast or more projection. The ultra high profile will give you less outer fullness and a lmore of a projected look. If you're worried about having too much projection you can also go for a slightly smaller volume and still use the ultra high profile. If you don't mind a little more outer fullness then you may want to consider the high-profile implants.  If if you are not sure, then visit again with your plastic surgeon so they can go through the differences in more detail.

The best implant profile for each patient depends on careful measurements and an in-person consultation.  As a general rule, remember that the higher profile implants are also narrower and mean your breasts will be farther apart if the implant is properly seated beneath the breast and nipple.  In women with a very narrow rib cage (like 28 inches), I find the higher profile implants very useful. 

Either implant should give you a really nice result. You have a good breast shape to start with and will likely be happy with either one. The UHP I tend to shy away from personally but will use those implants to avoid a overly wide implant in someone with a narrow base diameter or chest wall. Try and find a surgeon with a large number of before and after photos to view their gallery and see what UHP look gives patients who's preoperative photos mimics your current body and go from there. Trust your surgeon assuming you chose a board certified plastic surgeon. Lately I've been using more of the Sientra high profile textured implants because they are more similar to the UHP and have been happy with the results. good luck!

Thanks for your question and the photos. As long as you are willing to accept a lot of lateral fullness then you can go with this large implant volume. Although the UHP is not quite as wide it is like a gum drop with a strange shape in my opinion. The HP has its own issues but is a better choice of the two. Best of Luck!

I think you will be very happy with the ultra high profile 450 cc range.   It gives the high look with round cleavage.   In terms of size, It is much better to accurately discuss implant volume and projection with an in office exam and detailed measurements. In order to make an accurate size recommendation, I would need to assess your chest wall and breast mound measurements/characteristics. I use these measurements to help me during the sizing process to guide you to a safe result for your chest wall and just as important, one that meets your end desires.The next step is to try on this range of implants in the office with your doctor. The key to this success is showing your surgeon the body proportion you desire with a bra sizer and allowing your surgeon to guide you to the right implant. It will be much easier to communicate in implant cc's than cup size when determining the appropriate implant for you during the sizing process. In addition, review of photos and use of rice bags can be very helpful to the patient and surgeon in achieving a safe and happy result. speaking, I consider two factors when selecting implants for my
patients:1. Dimensional planning2. Gel Implant Sizing systemDimensional
planning – The measurements of your chest wall are taken. Also, the
breast dimensions including the height, width, and current dimensions of
each breast form the basis of dimensional planning. Based on these
measurements, the implant size is recommended. This will give you a
unique breast implant that is suited for your body frame. However, there
are some limitations of what size we can recommend. For instance, some
implants may just be too big for a narrow chest wall. Your surgeon can
review this with you during the consultation.Gel Implant Sizing
system – During the preliminary breast implant consultation, you will be
provided with an option to “try on” a variety of implant shapes and
sizes. You can also visualize the possible outcomes of your surgery
which helps you to get that perfect size to give you the shape that you
longed for. This way your preferences are known and you can then pick a
range of implants that will “fit” just right to give a soft natural

Although I rarely use ultra high profile implants, it sounds like you would be happy with either implant. At 450 cc, you should achieve a very round full augmented look. Your base width will ultimately determine how much later fullness ( side boob) you really want. Ultra high will give you more projection and less side boob. No one could gaurantee you no stretch marks with either implant.

The most important thing is your goal - which appears to be a large augmentation with a sculpted look. Thank you for the question and pictures. Based on your photographs, I think that you are starting at a great place and should have a very nice outcome with breast augmentation surgery. Unfortunately, online consultants will not be able to provide you with specific enough advice (regarding specific breast implant size/profile) to be truly helpful.  
Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is:
1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work.
2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals.
In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. In bra sizers can be useful communication tools also. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "C or D cup" or "round, high look" etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful.
Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. The use of computer imaging may be very helpful during the communication process.
3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery ( after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers).
