I have a problem with very baggy upper eyelids and very dark circles around my eyes even with loads of sleep and a stress free lifestyle. I have attached a picture of my eye.
Answer: Heavy upper eyelids Upper blepharoplasty is used to improve heavy upper eyelids, but there are multiple causes for the heaviness. Usually it is just a skin and muscle issue that is improved very nicely with an upper blepharoplasty. An examination and better pictures are needed to further suggest treatments options.

Answer: Upper blepharoplasty Thank you for the question. In your photograph it appears that only an upper eyelid blepharoplasty will treat your problem. It does not look like you have brow ptosis; therefore, brow lift and Botox will not work. For best advice, see an oculoplastic surgeon in person for comprehensive evaluation and discussion of treatment options. Good luck,

Answer: Upper lid blepharoplasty and / or lateral brow lift Thanks for sharing. It is a bit difficult to tell from this photo but an upper lid blepharoplasty and or lateral brow lift may be appropriate procedures to address your concerns. Botox can get you a lateral browlift as well. An in person consult with a board certified and experienced surgeon is needed.

Answer: Eyelid surgery is one possible option that could resolve your issue. Based upon your photo, you may be a good candidate for a blepharoplasty, or eyelid surgery. You’ll best be able to find out what your options are from an in-person consultation with an experienced plastic surgeon. Eyelid surgery would remove any excess skin or fat on the eyelid to reveal more of your eyes. The discoloration you experience may be hereditary or an indication of allergies. You might consider consulting with an allergist to get screened for possible allergens. If the discoloration is simply due to genetics, then laser treatment may help to resolve the issue.

Answer: Hooded Eyes Hi there. Please note that the definitive answer rests with an in-person examination. In the upper eyelid, there is an age-related accumulation of droopy tissue. Medically, this is known as dermatochalasis. The extra skin and tissue leads to a tired or angry look and may also impair vision.Upper lid blepharoplasty is performed to remove this droopy skin. A nonsurgical option may be Botox; when placed strategically, may result in a "chemical browlift" that elevates the brow and reduces some of the hooding.Hope this is helpful. Best wishes.
