Breast lift w/ implants. Allergic reaction to adhesive 12 days post op & told to remove adhesive. Are incisions going to be ok?

I had a breast lift with implants 12 days ago. Two nights ago, my breasts were itching bad enough to keep me up at night. Benadryl didn't help & by yesterday, I had a rash across my breasts. I sent the on-call nurse a pic & she said it's a reaction to the adhesive, to remove it and keep the incisions clean. My areola incisions don't look healed enough to be without the strips. Is 12 days enough time? I'm nervous they'll get infected. I was supposed to get them removed 3 weeks post surgery.
