Answer: how to know if muscle repair required Thank you for your question.1. you can ask your doctor about operative note.. from where to where myscle repaire was done2 still have lower abdominal laxity3You can do leg raising test see central bulgge .. suggest muscle laxity4. can do sonography which shows diverication of rectus muscle And final is please contact Board cerified plastic surgeon.. personal examination is the final answer Best of luck Dr Milan Doshi

Answer: Abdominal muscle tightening Consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon and review of your op report should give you some answers. Panniculectomy is simply removal of excess skin without muscle tightening.

Ob/Gyns are not trained to perform abdomen contouring procedures as plastic surgeons are. Please consult a board-certified plastic surgeon to learn about your options.Best wishes.
