I would suggest a Foxtail Eyelid Lift, exclusively designed by me, to help improve the upper eyelid excess skin and the lateral tail. Best, Dr. KaramanoukianRealself100 Surgeon
Yes you can have upper lid surgery with filler in your lower lid/tear trough. You can get botox as soon as the swelling is gone for the lids (usually 1-2 weeks).Doing lower lid surgery where filler has been previously placed is a different story. I routinely dissolve filler in the lower lids prior to lower lid blepharoplasty.
Hi and thanks for the question! There should be no issue having an upper bleph with lower eyelid filler in place and you can have botox as early as 1 week after upper blepharoplasty.
Thank you for sharing your question. The filler should be dissolved prior to having blepharoplasty. The Botox can be injected safely one month after surgery. Make sure to seek consultation with an eyelid specialist (oculoplastic surgeon). Good luck!
Good question. Having blepharoplasty while you have a tear-through filler is perfectly ok. This procedure does not have an effect on the upper eyelid. It takes about 6 weeks for tissues to heal after blepharoplasty. However, lower blepharoplasty surgery requires a longer time to heal. I recommend waiting at least 3 months for treatment with Botox. Best wishes.
You can have Upper blepharoplasty surgery. There is no problem with the filler in your tear throghs. After blepharoplasty surgery I do botox after one week, and making botox is good for the wound healing.
Yes you can, the filler doesn't affect the upper lid function. It is important before surgery to stop btx for 3 months . After surgery it depends on healing but I would expect 4 weeks is fine. Some recommend it even earlier , to avoid scar complications
Hello, there are no restrictions to perform upper eyelid correction procedure when you have tear through fillers. It is better to wait 3-4 weeks to have botox treatment after upper blepharoplasty procedure.
It's best to have the filler reversed since you have artificially inflated the anatomy. Once you've had the filler reversed, then you can undergo a consultation for evaluation for how much herniated fat is in the lower lids.
Tear trough filler has no effect on the upper eyelid. Therefore, it will have no effect on upper Blepharoplasty. Botox can be done at the same time as Blepharoplasty as it can reduce pull on the incision. Discuss this with your surgeon who should understand all this.
A Foxtail Upper eyelid lift will help recontour the eyelids and the lateral tail of the upper lids. You have nice features that perhaps can be enhanced with an eyelid lift. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
