I have few fibroadenomas and fibroadenosis. I go through chronic pain because of these issues. I wanted to know if a breast reduction and lift would help ease or reduce the pain i go through because of FCD. I am currently 32ddd and have very heavy and dense breasts. They sag a lot so the pressure from the weight adds more pain. Let me know if i should get a breast reduction. My goal or ideal size would be 32b or c
Answer: Pain You may notice an improvement in your pain from a breast reduction as a portion of the breast tissue will be removed, but the degree cannot be predicted. I encourage you to speak with your surgeon about your concerns.

Answer: Breast reduction to help with fibrocystic breasts? Hello, thank you for your question. Yes so during a breast reduction, we remove a portion of the breast tissue but of course you still will have residual breast tissue and may continue to experience some of the periodic breast pain. The reduction and lift in of itself will help with posture and shoulder and back pain.

Answer: Bellesoma Breast Reduction The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reduce and reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief without excessive reduction. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time, your fibroadenomas and fibroadenosis can be removed. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction Dear Reliable727511, breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Will a breast reduction be beneficial in reducing pain caused by FCD and fibroadenoma Breast reduction surgery can potentially help reduce pain associated with fibrocystic breast changes (FCD) and fibroadenomas by removing excess breast tissue, which can alleviate pressure and discomfort. However, it’s essential to consult with a skilled plastic surgeon who discuss your specific situation, asses the benefits and risks of the procedure, and determine if it’s the right course of action for you. Individual factors, such as the severity of symptoms and overall health, will also play a role in the decision-making process.
