Had my BA done in may, my right breast seems to be dropped and fluffed, the left is still very perky and high riding which has caused uneven nipples…. Is this normal at the 6 month mark? Is there something I can do to help the other one drop?
Answer: Uneven dropping Dear Jcheek93, I understand your concern. However, without a proper assessment, it would be difficult to determine what is wrong. It is best that you visit your plastic surgeon for further assessment or ask for a second opinion. Only after a thorough examination, you can get proper recommendations and advice. Answer: Before pics are needed Hi from Istanbul! Seeing the before pics is very important for making a correct assessment, since there could be a pre-existing asymmetry. Natural variations in breast shape and size can be accentuated by augmentation, especially with larger implants. Your right arm being raised in the first photo could also contribute to the perceived difference in height. If the main issue is the horizontal orientation of the nipples, there isn't a direct solution for that. However, if achieving a more symmetrical appearance is a priority, opting for smaller implants might be advisable, as larger implants can make asymmetries more noticeable. Best of luck to you!

Answer: Breast asymmetry its normal It's hard to tell without seeing your pre surgery photos if perhaps you already had a pre-existing breast asymmetry before surgery? Did you possibly have one breast that was slightly higher or slightly heavier than the other, which sometimes is more noticeable after breast augmentation. So, without knowing that, some of the causes of this may be one of many reasons. A capsular contracture could be a causing one of your breast looks high. The best solution would be to see your plastic surgeon analyze your presurgical photos and have them evaluate the cause why they looks uneven. If it is due to capsular contracture, or implant malposition, then a revision surgery may be required to address and correct the situation. I hope this helps, and I wish you the best

Answer: Before photos Thanks for your question! To give the best answer, it would be helpful to see your "before" photos as well. I would need to see if there was a discrepancy beforehand. I would suggest following up with your plastic surgeon to see if he/she has any concerns. Good luck!

Answer: 6 months post op At six months post op the majority of settling has already occurred. I encourage you to speak to your surgeon about the asymmetry that concerns you. If the left implant is still being held high, surgical intervention may be needed to help it release into place.
