Question

My PS thinks it might be a torn muscle, regardless there is bleeding (hemotoma) according to the ultrasound done last week. I feel some pain but mainly discomfort. I had a mini TT 3 months ago. I developed a seroma in the same place 10 days after surgery. PS drained it twice. Everything was fine until 2 weeks ago the hemotoma popped out where the sermona used to be. I think it might be getting a little bigger. I am very concerned. Please give your opinion. Thank you.

Hello. Great question. I am sorry for your post op difficulties. A personal examination is needed to properly examine your bulge. Keep following up with your surgeon.

This needs to be drained and probably place a drain inside to minimize the risk of a seroma. If not, your skin may stay stretched and it might "organize" and build a wall around it and you would keep this lump.  Please go back to your surgeon.

Without in person examination and personal review of your scans my guess is surgical intervention is needed. But again only these in person examinations can determine the appropriate plan and treatment course.
