That question should ONLY addressed to your operative surgeon. We do not know the exact techniques and grafts used in your specific case. And no statement to length of the after surgery has been posted? So I would not even venture a guess to your question.
The redness of the nose after rib graft should be temporary. I would certainly check with your surgeon before using anything like that. Personally, I would discourage you from using anything and let nature heal your wounds. Some redness is a natural part of healing.All the best,Talmage Raine MD
