Hi I was injected with Volbella about 2 weeks ago. The swelling has completely subsided now, only in the morning I can tell that they are more swollen than in the evening. My lips developed lumps immediately after the procedure. It’s been 2 weeks and they haven’t resolved, are these hematomas or something else? I don’t think this is just filler. Will they resolve on there own?
Answer: Lumps Hello and thanks for your question. Some lumps after filler can be normal and settle quickly - if you are concerned about anything you should go straight back to your injector for a face to face examination. Always seek a qualified and experienced practitioner, best wishes

Answer: Lumps after lip filler Thankyou for your question. These are not haematomas and will not go away. Its most likely due to too much filler in one spot or placement of the filler too superficially. You will need to go back to your injector and have some of the filler dissolved.FYI Volbella is a lip hydrator and does not give volume . Good luck.

Answer: Vibella and lips Thank you for your question. While it is normal to have more fluid retention when you’re dehydratedand or in the morning from having your lips injected with Vobella this is all very common. Sometimes if the lips are not massage well or manipulated by the provider you can have lumps and feel the product. Swelling and bruising may also occur. You should never try to manipulate an area yourself after you have had it injected. Follow up with your provider in two weeks following your treatment. Yes, they should resolve and let your provider know at your next visit. Any questions or concerns should be called into your provider. Hope this helps.

Answer: Lumps and bumps after 90% sure at this time frame that the lumps are NOT haematomas. More than likely due to excess filler. You have a choice that should be discussed with your expert injector. If lumps are seen- dissolve them. If lumps are FELT and NOT seen, you have the option of leaving them alone, as they will cause no harm. A conversation and assessment between you and your Specialist. All the best, Dr Davin S. Lim. Answer: Lumps after filler to the lips The lips in particular can have lumps and bumps for some time. Especially if this is your first time getting fillers there. Those do not appear to be hematomas. They just appear to be either lumps of filler, which will smooth out or swelling from injections. Try to keep your hands and tongue away from the areas as pressing on them and playing with them will only make these continue. Leave the sites alone and if after 10 days things aren't resolved, see your injector.
