Sliding genioplasty, jaw reduction or osteoplasty? Plus rhinoplasty what should I do first? (Photo)

The analysis shows a long face.  Chin does not seem to be the issue.  A pleasant face usually appears heart shaped because of prominent cheek areas.  Your cheek areas are very flat and are taking away the beauty of the face and making your chin and nose look more prominent.In order of priority I would recommend the following procedures.1.  Cheek fillers such as Voluma, Radiesse or  Sculptra. Later on use same fillers to build up jawline near the ears as well.2.Alar plasty to narrow the wide nostrils, no other Nasal procedure needed.3.  No need for a chin procedure at all.RegardsDr. J

Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photograph, you may benefit from a tip narrowing and refining rhinoplasty. Your surgeon can accomplish this by trimming, suturing, and reshaping the cartilage in your lower nose. Cartilage grafts may also be used to help improve tip refinement. You could also benefit from chin reduction performed at the same time and fillers for midface volume.  I frequently perform rhinoplasty and chin reduction at the same time.  The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. With good surgical technique, you could have an outstanding result. While either procedure could be done separately, the best effect is going to be achieved when they are done together. When in doubt do them separately with the procedure of highest priority to you done first. This appears to be that of the chin. With a vertically long and wider chin, an intraoral horizontal and wedge reduction genioplasty would be the chin reduction method of choice.
