How big does 700cc implants typically translate when it comes to breast size when some is naturally an A cup? Also can breast implants and butt implants be done at the same time? What position would the patient wake up then in if that was the case? I have had my boobs augmented before and now I'm a small C but like to go to DD
Answer: Implants and cup size You may want to concentrate on your final appearance rather than a cup size. Bra manufacturers vary on the exact volume for a cup. I use a 3 dimensional virtual image of your body to show what you will look like after an augmentation. I can add any implant to your image and you can put on the glasses to see what you would look like. It is a phenomenal way to visualize your result. Keep in mind that larger implants make you look thicker as well which is definitely a consideration as you age. Best of luck,Dr. JA. Dean Jabs M.D. Ph.D. FACSBoard Certified Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Augmented boobs but want to go DD. What is 700cc? I got a 400cc originally put in Thank you for the question. There is no accurate/reliable/predictable correlation between size/profile breast implant utilized and cup size achieved. Although it is not possible to provide you with definitive advice without an person evaluation, most patients are able to "go larger" at a second stage, once the breast tissues have expanded (after first-time breast augmentation). Sometimes, during this revisionary surgery, adjustment of the breast implant capsules is also necessary to achieve the desired outcome. Ultimately, careful communication of your goals (in my practice I prefer the use of goal pictures, direct examination/communication in front of a full-length mirror, and computer imaging) will be critical. Generally speaking, the best online advice I can give to ladies who are considering revisionary breast augmentation surgery (regarding breast implant size/profile selection) is: 1. Concentrate on choosing your plastic surgeon carefully. Concentrate on appropriate training, certification, and the ability of the plastic surgeon to achieve the results you are looking for. Ask to see lots of examples of his/her work. 2. Have a full discussion and communication regarding your desired goals with your plastic surgeon. This communication will be critical in determining breast implant size/type/profile will most likely help achieve your goals. In my practice, the use of photographs of “goal” pictures (and breasts that are too big or too small) is very helpful. I have found that the use of words such as “natural” or "D or DD cup” etc means different things to different people and therefore prove unhelpful. Also, as you know, cup size varies depending on who makes the bra; therefore, discussing desired cup size may also be inaccurate. 3. Once you feel you have communicated your goals clearly, allow your plastic surgeon to use his/her years of experience/judgment to choose the breast implant size/profile that will best meet your goals. Again, in my practice, this decision is usually made during surgery ( after the use of temporary intraoperative sizers). Viewing the patient's chest wall in the upright and supine positions, with temporary sizes in place, help select the best breast implant size/profile for the specific patient. I hope this, and the attached link (dedicated to larger breast augmentation surgery concerns), helps. Best wishes.

Answer: Increased size Everyone is different, this will really depend on where you start. Without seeing pictures, it is difficult to say how much bigger you will be. Depending on how much tissue you start with, the implant will almost double in size.

Answer: Breast size There are no standards when it comes to breast sizes. So, going from 400 to 700 will almost double your breast size. In choosing a doctor, you should look at some of their photos where they increase implant sizes. Also at the consultation the doctor should be able to show you how much of difference there will be.

Answer: 700 cc implants It is difficult to predict what bra size you would be after increasing your implant volume. You can try a baggy test with larger bras to see what it might be.
