Browpexy vs. Lateral Brow Lift (Endoscopic vs. Non-Endoscopic)

The difference between endoscopic and non endoscopic brow lift is obviously the use of the endoscope to visualize as the operation is performed. The endoscope is useful, not just because of nerves, but there are also some vessels that would be nice to avoid. The incision is within the hairline so it heals nicely. A browpexy won't work nearly as well. Be sure to see a facial specialist for consultation.

Much more information is needed, such as a full set of facial and forehead photographs, including with your hair pulled back to see where the status of your hairline is. Also helpful to show contraction of both your corrugator and frontalis muscles, which is very important to address at the time of a brow lift. In our practice, the goals of a brow lift are several which include: adjusting asymmetry of the eyebrows, raising the eyebrows and forehead as a unit, softening the corrugator and frontalis muscles, addressing any dermal atrophy between the eyebrows, and adjusting the hairline, either upwards or downward, depending upon the pre-existing hairline itself.
