Local doctor says results are like Ultherapy, but at discounted treatment price. I can't find any reviews that compare Doublo to Ultherapy. Most of the information is in Korean; before/after pix are Asian women who age differently than blonde, blue eye fair skin females. Specs: ultrasound into skin layer on 3.0mm, 4.5 mm w/o damaging epidermis. 129HC high resolution image control. Do you have any knowledge of this products and its results. Thanks!
Answer: Radiofrequency or Ultrasound for Skin Tightening They all work very well for tightening in the right hands. I personally like the results of thermage better than ultherapy, and it works even better when combined with sublative and sculptra/fillers. I suggest just finding a good doctor well trained in laser treatments who does them him or herself. Best, Dr. Emer.

Answer: Ultherapy vs competitor for facial lifting and tightening If the Korean ultrasound device is being used in Korea, that's one thing but I wouldn't trust it in the United States if it is not FDA cleared, and I don't think it is. One should only trust the Ultherapy form of facial focal ultrasound for facial tightening and lifting in the U.S.

Answer: Counterfeit Ultherapy Device Thank you for your inquiry. I wrote an article that was published in a medical journal within the past several months describing the phenomenon of counterfeit medical devices. These devices are not FDA approved and the doctor using it is putting his/her license at risk. Do NOT undergo treatment with a counterfeit device.

Answer: Ultherapy Knock Offs Hi Kelly,Doublo is an imitation Ultherapy device manufactured in Korea. As such, there have been no studies done to prove its effectiveness and it is not FDA-approved for use in the United States. There are a number of imitation Ultherapy machines on the market, but they have been associated with complications. In fact, Ulthera has filed lawsuits against several of these companies for patent infringement. The bottom line is I wouldn't recommend cutting corners when it comes to your face. You will end up spending more money in the long run to correct inadequate results and complications. If you need more information on Ultherapy, feel free to check out our practice website below. Best of luck to you.

Answer: Doublo is a Korean Copy of Ulthera, It is Not FDA Approved Hi Kelly,Doublo is a Korean knock off of Ulthera. There are many aesthetic device copies on the market from Asia. They have not gone through the rigorous FDA testing and approval for safety and efficiency. They are a lot cheaper to purchase. We are seeing more frequent complications from non-FDA approved devices. Ultimately, it is your face and you need to determine whether the "discounted price" is worth the risk. For my patients and for my practice, a "discount" is not worth the long term complications. Our patients can rest assured that they are getting the most efficient, safe, and effective, FDA tested and approved treatments. All of this goes along with the admonition that when it comes to your face or sushi, a discount is not in your best interests. Choose your facial aesthetic physician most carefully. Good luck and be well.Michael Persky, MDEncino, CA
