I agree there is something more going on.  even in patients who "metabolize" the product more quickly, i never had to inject this much.  My suggestion is to ask the staff for the lot numbers and what product was used and you may need something more voluminous like voluma or perlane rather than restylane or juvederm ultra.  Best, Dr. Emer.

I too am unable to account for the excessive volume that 4 syringes of filler would create in your lips.Having said that, your lips were shapely before any filler and you do show some very appealing and symmetrical enhancement to your lips. Thus, it is a shame that your appearance does not last. Rapid breakdown of hyaluronic acid fillers is not a common thing; we more often have to manage the results of too much filler.Ask your injector to take point on this issue for you. The company representative needs to help you to figure this out.

Something is not right here, because usually 1 cc of these HA fillers is sufficient in most cases, in my experience. This can provide an impressive result lasting up to 1 year for lip augmentation. At times more product is needed, but never more than 1.5 to 2 cc s without the risk of over augmentation. It seems unlikely that your body would metabolize the product this rapidly. I would seek another consultation.

I have never injected 4 syringes of any filler in one person's lips because that would create extremely large unnatural looking lips. The most that would ever be injected at one time is 2 syringes.  I have not known any patient to metabolize a filler that quickly. It is indeed puzzling to look at your photos and not see significant change after 4 syringes.  I think you should ask the injecting professional to give you the lot number of the products injected and contact the manufacturer ( Galderma and Allergan) and get their explanation.
