It should be fine to take Monistat. Advise your plastic surgeon so that he/she is aware. It is best to inform your surgeon of any and all medications that you take.

It should be fine to take Monistat prior to your surgery, although in general, it is beat to check with your surgeon's office about medications within two weeks of surgery as some medications can affect anesthesia or bleeding tendencies.
