I have been taking 25mg of Pedisolone daily for 2 weeks. I finished this one week ago. Is it safe to have 1ml cheek filler? Will there be any side affects or negative outcomes with the filler? Am I better off waiting until steroid is out of my system?
Answer: Prednisolone and filler treatment It all depends on the reason you were taking prednisolone. if it is because of an autoimmune condition, it may preclude you from having filler until the condition is stabilised. Prednisolone can alter the immune system and may make you more predisposed to infection, bruising or even nodule formation it would be best to delay the filler treatment until you are completely well Dr Jane Shanahan

Answer: Prednisolone and filler I dont see any need to wait .We sometimes use prednisole to limit swelling associated with having dermal filler with no unwanted interaction anticipated .If however the condition for which you are taking prednisolone is an active autoimmune condition then this would be reason to defer treatment until the condition is under control
