To properly evaluate you, you would need to be seen in person. It may be swelling, it may be residual fat, it may be fluid.

It is difficult to tell what is causing the lumps. There is sometimes some scar tissue that can form at about the time frame that you suggest. It also depends on the type of lipo that you have had. I used to use the Body Jet but found that it may possibly overinflate the platysma muscle and cause some spotty death of parts of it that where a problem for one of my patients. I have stopped using the bodyjet for this and many other reasons. I have had some success with using Kenalog steroid injections if indeed this is scar tissue. It has been helpful to me, but can cause over removal leaving divots (I have seen this occasionally) and skin lightening or thinning (I have never seen this). It should be done very carefully and with the stock solution diluted and very accurate placement within the abnormal tissue itself.It is also possible that this will resolve over time. As with any patient who is having problems, I would suggest a consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in lipo.Thanks,Dr. Seare
