This may cost $5000 or $6000 on the low end. Liposuction results are highly surgeon dependent. Find a plastic surgeon with ELITE credentials who performs hundreds of liposuction and liposuction revision procedures each year. Then look at the plastic surgeon's website before and after photo galleries to get a sense of who can deliver the results. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
Liposucstion is easy to go through and can make such a great improvement of the abdomen and hips(flanks) for roughly $5-6500 on special and done under local tumescent tech liposuction for the best results. Sincerely,David Hansen,MD
Dear sexierme, Liposuction for the area that you mentioned can take between 2.5 hours and 4 hours depending on the amount of fat and the difficulty due to the fibrosity of the tissue. Consequently , the cost can vary between $5,000 to $8,000. You have to keep in mind that it is much less costly to do it once correctly than having to do corrective liposuction later on. So, consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons and check the before and after pictures to make sure that you like the results. Best of luck, Dr Widder
As the other surgeons answered, surgical costs vary from region to region. In our immediate area, a suburb of Dallas-Fort Worth, liposuction for two areas would cost approximately $5500 (flanks and abdomen---the waist would be part of the abdomen). This includes the surgeon's fee, the surgery facility fee (including compression garment), and the anesthesia fee. I would check with the American Society of Plastic Surgeons' website which lists different procedures and associated fees. I you find fees that are substantially lower, make sure that the surgeon is a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
hello--In my Baltimore practice, your total cost should be approximately $5K-$6K. Many patients do finance part or all of their fees. Total Cost should be thought of as the total of:Surgeon's Fee + Anesthesia Fee + Operating Room + Recovery RoomThe surgery center should be Accredited by an organization such as AAAASF or Medicare. When comparing prices, find out if they use Board Certified Anesthesiologists or CRNAs for anesthesia administration. Most surgeons include all follow up office visits as part of the total cost. Hope this helps!Ricardo L Rodriguez, MD.
As indicated, fees vary based on: 1. Your physical exam2. What procedure is recommended3. RegionConsult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and consider a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS). The latter are generally especially known for doing the "cosmetic" side of plastic surgery cases as they have had to qualify for membership in ASAPS. You need an in-person evaluation to discuss the procedure and fees. There will be a surgeon's fee, operating room fee, and anesthesia fee. Fees (total) of $5000-$10000 (maybe even more or less, again, it all depends on how much is done) are not unreasonable.
Surgeon's fees vary from region to region. Consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon, certified by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) for an evaluation to discuss the procedure and fees. You will have a surgeon's fee, outpatient fee, anesthesia fee, and any medications your surgeon prescribes.
