Low eyebrow and hooded eyelid, especially in the morning. What is it? (photo)

Hi. I have a question related to my low eyebrow and hooded eyelid, seen especially in the morning (as in the picture). A few years ago I have started noticing my right eyebrow starting to get lower and my eye more hooded ( it is left side in the picture). I would love to know what caused it to drop (too much use of that eyebrow or too little?) and I would also like to know what I can do about it (surgical and non) and what the approximate cost would be. Thank you in advance.

Thanks for your questions and photo. I think that you have some brow asymmetries for sure. I would recommend starting with Botox conservatively anywhere from 15 to 35 units. Botox in Arizona costs$10-$12 per unit. The other thing you can try is a thread lift Since you appear to be relatively young. Cost varies from 2k-5k. I would not recommend a more invasive surgical procedure unless you were looking for a complete and total correction At which point an endoscopic brow lift or a lateral brow lift Would help to correct the slight asymmetries. Thank you for your question and submitting a photo.  People's eyebrows tend to settle as they age.  I can not tell you why one side dropped more than the other.  It is possible that you tend to raise one brow more often as you make different facial expressions.  The best procedure to correct this asymmetry is a brow lift.  This involves three small incision in the hairline, above your forehead.  A special anchor called an endotine is used to reposition the brows.  As this endotine dissolves over the course of several months, your tightened muscles heal into the new position.  Surgeon fees are about $3000, with additional facility and anesthesia fees.  Make sure you make a consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon, who does this procedure often.

From the one photograph, there appears to be a low  position of the eyebrows, which can be best addressed by a brow lift procedure. That will probably address the hooded skin in the upper lid, since it's only mild. The asymmetry will be addressed at the time of the procedure to make the eyebrows more symmetrical and raised. The positioning of either of the brows could be considered normal. If you like the lower brow, then judicious use of Botox on the high brow would be beneficial. If you prefer the look of the higher brow, then a surgical browlift to reduce the asymmetry would be the best approach.
