What are my options to reduce round chubby cheeks, especially when smiling? (photos)

Hello, I have always been bothered by how chubby and round my face looks, especially when I smile. This has been an issue even when I was underweight. I have done masseter, and initially thought of buccal fat removal. However, my understanding is that buccal fat is on the lower face, not the mid face. Thank you!

Hi there! Buccal fat removal involves removal of the fat from the cheek area via an intraoral incision. It's often described to be the volume of a walnut. It helps to create shadowing from the high cheekbones to the jawline. The result in most cases is subtle though noticeable. The recovery is minimal and it may be a good option for you. Other options would be Morpheus8 microneedling along the cheeks and jawline. This will help to tone the skin, though not to the same degree as a surgical result. Hope this helps!

Hello. Buccal fat is not the only fat on our face. There are also maral fats and they are big in that area. Therefore, your cheek will never be too small, but I think you should plan to have buccal fat removal to make it a little smaller.
