My cheeks are much fatter after buccal fat removal, 1 year post op. Any suggestions on what I should do? (photos)

I had buccal fat removal almost a year ago and my cheeks are much chubbier from the surgery. The scar tissue has caused a permanent swelling and my cheeks feel tough and swollen. I have paid thousands to have a result which is the absolute opposite of what I wanted. I’m really disappointed with the treatment. Any suggestions? The skinner photo is before the surgery.

It's important to understand the impact that different operations can have to your face. Buccal Fat Removal will reduce volume to the cheeks but will most likely not have an effect on the nasolabial folds. You mentioned you have an underbite, this means that possibly the chin is under-projected...

I recommend you fillers. Dermal fillers improve shadowing and hollowness tremendously. Buccal fat removal will not be beneficial for you. Best wishes.

Is it possible for buccal fat removal to affect/cause changes to the eyes/eyelids?

I've not found in my practice that Buccal Fat Removal affects the eyes, or the eyelids, as a post-operative symptom.
