Answer: Surgery can cover up scar Growing hair back to cover up stitches might vary as it all depends on the formation of the scar or may not be guaranteed. Most times the hair won’t grow back to cover up the stitches in which case, the Individual might decide to do a surgery called scalp micro-pigmentation to cover up the scar. Whichever way, hair can cover the scar in the end whether hair transplant or scalp covering. A surgery can definitely cover up the scar.

Answer: Hair Transplants for Scalp Scars Hair won't grow back where the stitches were placed - that is correctthere are a few options to camouflage or reduce the appearance of the scar1. You can get hairs transplanted into the scar. It may take a few sessions but that is a good option. Hairs that are transplanted into a scar don't grow quite as well as when transplanted into an area without scarring2. You might also consider scalp micropigmentation. (SMP). Essentially the scar can be tattooed to make it look like you have hair.
