Shaving the transplanted area after 11 weeks of the procedure is absolutely ok and you can use electric clipper or blade razor without any consequence but one should do it carefully so as there should not be any Knicks and cuts over the area.
If we compare both the techniques which are FUT and FUE then both have different type of scars on donor area. In FUT, there is a linear scar and obviously the type of scar depends upon the experience of the surgeon and the scalp laxity and the healing tendency of the patient. But in FUE, the donor area heals as tiny dots which are generally not visible after few days.
The things have significantly improved over a period of time. Now one can easily do on an average a session of 3000 grafts. Depending upon the availability of donor and requirement one can undergo mega sessions like 3500 grafts or more in a single session also. Obviously it depends upon multiple factors also like availability of donor, experience of surgeon, hair density required and elasticity of scalp etc. To decide the no. of grafts one requires a proper examination and assessmen.
After 3 months of hair transplant one may be going through shedding phase which may be continue for 1 more month. After that the growth should start but for the final result one has to wait till 10 to 12 months of surgery. One should avoid scratching to prevent the itchiness because this may damage the graft and may also introduce infection. To address the itching one should consult the physician to know if there is any medical the cause of the itching. But one may use appropriate shampoo or some moisturizing gel.
