If your doctor told you to shampoo and use fingers, it's ok. Follow your doctors instructions.  Scabs are suppose to fall off after a few days.  If you are concerned, you should follow up with your doctor.

Doctors have their unique technique and experience which may differ with another doctor.  Patients also have their unique issues and the treatment options may vary between patients.  There are many ways to do the same thing.

Bosley is Hair Club.. They're the same company.  The company is owned by a Japanese wig company called Aderans.  They employ many doctors.  Some are great.  Some are not.  Just like the doctors here (or anywhere else).  Some are great. Some are not.

You need to follow up with your doctor if you believe your hair transplant was not a success.  It is always a good idea to return for a recheck.

Done properly, the skin the area of your mustache scar should be able to accomodate grafts.  If there is any doubt, your surgeon can always do a small test procedure and take it stepwise.  Best of luck.Dr John E Frank, MDNew York
