Post-op 2 weeks, 400cc submuscular. Wish I could say I'm satisfied. Will drop & "fluff"? Tight, high, small, odd-shaped. Dr said no larger cc, lack of tissue & chest cavity. A slight 25cc larger was attempted during surgery, wouldn't fit! Massaging 3-4 times/day, booband nightly. Left incision under breast - Inflamed/hard where stitches taken out. Nurse says Dr prob cut deeper into layers. I'm not certain it's going to heal nicely? Need others' expertise & opinions. Thanks for your time!
Answer: 2 weeks post op, some advices: Thanks for the question. Its too early to talk about results. In my practice, after performing a BA I recommend to my patients to limit the movement of the arms for two weeks. After that, you can move your arms taking care and always with common sense. In this regard, it's not advisable to carry heavy weights to prevent the implant out of position, and allow the formation of the physiological capsule around the implant, also to avoid pain and breast swelling.Respectfully,Dr. Emmanuel Mallol.-

Answer: Breast Augmentation/ Breast Implants / Anatomic Gummy Bear Implants/ Silicone Implants/ Breast Implant Revision Surgery I appreciate your question. Right now, you are very early on in the post op recovery period. It will take 3-6 months for you to feel comfortable having implants in your body and for them to settle. This time allows for you to physically and psychologically adapt to your new body image. There are many variables that contribute to a breast augmentation's final result. Preop size and shape, IMF location, location of the implants and type of implant. Patients heal at different rates and each breast will sometimes heal at a different rate. Rest, relax, recover and heal. Please Express your concerns to your surgeon so he/she can examine you at this time. Then reassess final result at 6 months. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative breast surgery. Best of luck! Answer: Drop & Fluff Hello,Thank you for the question and photos. At two weeks you can expect significant swelling and pressure displacing your breast implants up and outward as well as pectoral muscle swelling. Your breasts will take between 2-6 months to "drop & fluff" so unfortunately it is way too soon to evaluate their appearance. Follow your Plastic Surgeon's instructions and try to be patient. All the best

Answer: Two concerns - Size/shape and left breast incision! Thank you for your question and series of photographs. Without preoperative photographs to compare your current results you may have had a constricted breast crease that will need time to see if it relaxes. After placement of implants, your breasts will change dramatically over the next several months, as the implants drop, and the overlying tissues stretch to accommodate the extra volume. In your case the swelling from surgery is flattening your implants and holding them high on your chest. Though they will not get bigger, the volume within the implant will redistribute towards the lower portion of your breast achieving a more natural appearance, and filling your bra cup more. As far as your incision it appears that you may have a developing suture related local infection termed a stitch abscess that your surgeon may want to treat in his office by removing the stitch. I know waiting is difficult, but judge your results at 4-6 months after surgery as most of your breast changes should have occurred by then. Hope this helps.

Answer: Concerns after breast augmentation Breast shape and size do change significantly following breast augmentation. For most patients, it takes about 3 months before the final shape can really be appreciated. Similarly, scar do mature with time. Though revision may still be necessary for your scar or breast shape, you will see significant improvement over the next few weeks to months so try to be patient. That is probably the hardest part of all.
