Your question is a little vague. There are many kinds of varicose vein treatment such as closure procedures, microphlebectomies and sclerotherapy. Headaches can occur for many reasons including anxiety and may not be related to the treatment at all. Chills are uncommon following vein treatment and could be related to the tumescent solution especially if cold. They also may be unrelated to the treatment. Follow up with your treating physician.
Some minor swelling over the treated veins is normal post sclerotherapy but if you have significant swelling in the ankles, please see your physician as this may indicate an excessive reaction or underlining blood clot. Properly measured graduated compression stockings should help.
