I just wanted to correct a little bump I had, to make my nose straight. My former nose was nice and did not needed a lot of work. I insisted the dr to maintain a natural look, but I feel now the angle of the tip is not the right one and my nose looks too short for my face. I look too fake. I am very disappointed with the results. I look not only piggy but like Michael Jackson.

Answer: Rhinoplasty Results You have to give yourself some more healing time. Your nose and surrounding areas are going to be swollen for a while and you should be consulting the surgeon that performed the procedure but give yourself some time before going back in so some of it can subside. It can take up to a year for final results. Sincerely, Philip J. Miller, MD, FACS Double Board Certified Facial Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Healing post rhinoplasty Thank you for your pictures! You are very early in the healing process, so it is still too early to tell you what the end result will be. What is constant is that rotation tends to drop, and lengthen the nose with time. Again this also depends on what maneuvers your surgeon performed during your surgery. Give things time, and let it settle. Rhinoplasty healing can often be a little bit of a rollercoaster, so hang in there! You are doing great. Make sure you mention your concerns to your doc and theyll be more than happy to go over everything with you and what you can expect. I hope some of this helps.
