The real growth will be starting after 3 months and regarding the whole progress, complete result you should wait around 12-15 months, just need to be patient to see the final results following up your physician as well. 

It may take 8-12 months before seeing the final results of your hair transplant surgery. If you are concerned with the density and shape, follow up with your surgeon for an exam.

The regrowth will be stable at 8 months post op. The final result will show at 12 months for the hairline and the mid-scalp. The crown area takes longer to grow hair up to 14 months.

A good rule of thumb is 10% a month with about 30% growth at 3 months to 4 months.  When you use higher concentrations of growth factors in cytokine rich plasma, you can see much faster re-growth.  Follow up with your physician.  

It can be frustrating waiting for your result to fully mature. But in real time your transplanted hair has only been growing for a few months at best at this stage. It will take much longer to fully mature and you achieve the final growth from your hair transplant. You need to also consider your expectations and what was discussed with your Doctor. Aspects such as the hair coverage and the distribution of the grafts. Resulting in what type of hair density will be achieved when fully grown out. 

You should keep waiting until the 8 month mark to get a good idea. The transplant always "works" it is a question on how much improvement over the previous and what percentage of the grafts implanted "take". Wait for 8 months then post before and afters and evaluate the results yourself and with your surgeon. 

Hello, great question. I know you are very frustrated because you aren’t seeing the results you expected. You are going to have to be a bit more patient for a few more months. Typically patients see near full growth by 8 months and up to 12 months. Hang in there a few more months and I’m sure you’ll see good results. Good luck to you.

I tell all of my patients to wait a full 8 months to see 95% of the growth. Some patients gets earlier growth, but 8 months is a good time-line
