Thanks for your question. Keep in mind that swelling is a common side effect immediately following lip injections, so it is possible that what you’re seeing is that swelling beginning to diminish. If, after a few days, you’re still unhappy with your results, I would suggest consulting your injector. He or she may suggest additional injections to help enhance your results. Best of luck to you!
Your filler hasn't disappeared. It's only been two days and the initial plumpness and volume you've been experiencing was probably swelling. Now, after two days the swelling is starting to subside. If you're unhappy with your results, I advise waiting two weeks and booking in for a follow-up appointment to discuss the possibility of having more filler injected.
Commonly the lips swell significantly after injection, which usually resolves in 1-2 days. You may feel that you lost volume when the swelling disappeared as 1cc is a significant volume for lip augmentation. If you feel under corrected you should speak with your injector. Before and after photographs are also useful and informative.
Thank you for your question. It should not happen. Please go back to your injector, take before and after picture , and discuss the results.
This is difficult to answer without before and after pictures. Juvederm results take 1-2 weeks after injections. I recommend following up with your injector. These fillers, (Volbella, Restylane, Juvederm) are good to create a symmetrical and full lip. Implants or fat are alternatives. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question! This is very unusual, I would follow up with your doctor or injector. It is hard for me to evaluate you , with out before and after pics, without an in person consult. 1ML of Juvederm in your lips should be a nice subtle plump. If you feel the juvederm is gone and your lips are back to normal , I would suggest, following up with an experienced aesthetic facial doctor , such as a plastic surgeon or a dermatologist.
Thank you for your question. It takes 1-2 weeks for all swelling to resolve and to see your final result. If you want larger lips then you can purchase a syringe of filler to add more volume. I recommend having a follow up with injector to discuss your concerns and desires. Best of Luck!
Thank you for your question. I would attribute this to swelling. Typically after you have lip injections you have significant swelling that occurs and then resolves in a couple days. The swelling has probably gone down, but you have adjusted to the bigger look of your lips with the swelling. I would review your before and after pictures to see the results of your outcome. 1cc is a significant amount of filler and you should see a result. If you still want additional volume, you can always have more filler injected.
Most likely, the swelling has gone done form the injection. At this point, they are probably larger than they were before the injection but your brain has adjusted to the new lips. It would be good to go over before and after pics with your provider in about 10 days. It might be that your were expecting larger lips which required more than one syringe and further injections might be necessary.
Sorry to hear about your situation. Hopefully you injector took photos before your treatment and follow up photos might help you get an objective assessment so I think you should call your injector and follow up. I would be puzzled to not see any change with a full syringe of Juvederm in anyone's lips. Best wishes.
Thank you for your question. From looking at your photos it appears you have a small bruise. It is normal to have some bruising after lip injections and it should resolve in about 1-2 weeks. You can take Arnica to help reduce the bruise. If you still have any concerns please contact your expert...
Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and I am sorry that your current results have not been what you anticipated. You do have a number of bumps along your upper lip which likely indicates that the JVD was placed too close to the lip surface. This may resolve given additional t...
This is tough to answer without pictures. Smile lines need a combination approach for improvement with fillers for the lines themselves and building anatomical support with Sculptra for collagen building. Cost will vary, but see an expert in facial sculpting for a formal evaluation. Best, Dr. Emer
