Renuvion Skin Tightening - is a two stage approach for arm skin tightening common?

I recently had Renuvion with VASER lipo to address loose skin and fat on my arms after significant weight loss. My doctor suggested a two-stage approach: the first stage focused on fat removal and initial skin tightening. The second stage, planned for 3 months post-op, will involve further tightening through a small incision under the armpit where skin will be stretched under local anesthesia. Has anyone heard of or experienced this two-stage approach for arm skin tightening?

From the submitted photos the best option would be a standard tummy tuck. This would remove the excess skin and correct abdominal wall laxity. The result would be a flatter, tighter tummy. It appears you have too much skin laxity to achieve good results with J Plasma alone.

This is a great question. Dr. Ruter here from Syracuse Plastic Surgery in Syracuse New York. Without evaluating you in person I can't give you an exact plan. Personally, I believe there is a higher risk of burns from vaser than renuvion so we only do renuvion in our practice for surgical skin...
