Mixing of vials and drawing up Botox?

There is absolutely no issue with mixing botox from different vials; this is a very common practice (since a vial may have some but not enough units left in it, & throwing it out would be needlessly wasteful), and has no impact on safety or efficacy.

Hello, and thank you for your question. Mixing different vials of botox is completely acceptable. Usually before patients come in for the day, the vials are constituted to make liquid botox, as it starts as a powder. Each vial is constituted exactly the same so mixing different vials won't give you different results. Good luck in your cosmetic journey :)

Great question. Because the BOTOX costs are so very high use of excess left in the vials using fresh sterile needles and syringes is the standard of care. Did the "touch up" effectively improve your results? is the real question. Plus do you trust this injecting MD?

Yes your Botox treatment can be comprised of product from different vials. As long as the vials were reconstituted the same way and they were fresh there shouldn't be an issue. If ever you have questions about your treatment I encourage you to speak to your injector. it is important that you are comfortable and confident in your treatment.
