Will waiting 13 weeks instead of 11 weeks for Botox make a significant difference?

Hi, the difference of two weeks really depends on your personal metabolism of neurotoxin. In each person, neurotoxins ( Botox etc ) tend to go away differently. Typically, most patients get injected every 3-4 months. Some earlier, some later. It depends on the desired look you want and your comfort with the amount of movement you see. There should not be a very large difference in the two week period as neurotoxins typically wear off gradually, not so much like a light switch. I would suggest sticking with the injector that knows your face and the extra couple days will be worth the wait.

Two extra weeks between botox sessions should not have a significant difference. If you like your injector, it is always best to stick with them!

In my office, we do not send you a card saying your BOTOX has worn off. We figure you know when you are ready for retreatment. I have patients who get treatment every 2 months and others who get treatment once per year. Others have themselves scheduled for retreatment every 4 months. Do what works for you. Don't let an office pressure you on this. Your treatment effects wear off gradually not abruptly. No harm occurs waiting.

The longer you wait between botox the more motion you will have back. I recommend sticking to your 11-week schedule after spreading your appointment this one time.

You will notice little if any difference between 11 and 13 weeks. In some patients Botox lasts longer than 11 or 13 weeks. Good luck!
